Guitarist Zakk Wylde will be opening the Bound For Glory pay-per-view this Sunday by performing the U.S. national anthem.
A lifelong wrestling fan, Wylde is probably best known for being the guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne and as the founder of heavy metal band Black Label Society.
He appeared on WWE's Smackdown before with Ozzy Osbourne when he performed the song "I Don't Wanna Stop" and also contributed to Chris Jericho's theme music. Him and his Black Label Society band performed on the debut episode of the now defunct Wrestling Society X on MTV.
"We are thrilled to have Zakk join us at Bound For Glory", said TNA President Dixie Carter. "Without any question this will be the most memorable event in TNA Wrestling’s history and we are certain Zakk will start the show with a performance people will talk about for years to come."
