- Rumors are flying around that Mick Foley has agreed to a deal with TNA Wrestling and would be soon making his debut after his WWE contract expires on September 1st. It's not known if Foley has a 90 day no compete clause in his contract as well but if he does, he can't appear on television for another three months. Foley has been off WWE television since he was beat up by Edge a few weeks before SummerSlam following a great in-ring interview between the two. He was supposed to be a part of the Hell In A Cell match with Edge and Undertaker however after word got out that he might go to TNA, Foley was written out of the storyline and wasn't mentioned again. He's been doing color commentary for Smackdown! since Backlash, replacing Jonathan Coachman. Tazz has since taken over his duties, moving back from ECW. Before signing his last WWE contract, Foley was close to signing a deal with TNA however he opted to stay loyal to Vince McMahon and decided to go back to the company after the two fell apart a few years before.
