DirecTV is dropping MTV, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, VH-1 and most importantly for wrestling fans Spike TV, among other channels, starting at Midnight EST tonight following a fall in negotiations between the satellite broadcaster and Viacom.
TNA is asking its fans for help to call DirecTV to tell them they want Spike TV and even Hulk Hogan recorded a video for TNA urging fans to help. The company went all out on Twitter with many of the TNA Superstars and Knockouts re-tweeting the messages to call DirecTV on 800-531-5000.
If no agreement will be reached by the time the clock strikes Midnight, 20 million homes will be without 17 Viacom channels. Fans of other shows on MTV and other channels are also doing the same like TNA, flooding DirecTV's Twitter account with messages.
