- WWE yesterday released Smackdown! Superstar Scotty Goldman who wrestled before in other promotions as Colt Cabana. While Goldman was only used very rarely on the show he had a weekly WWE.COM video webcast titled "What's Crackin'" and was also part of the WWE developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling doing commentary for their television show as well.

On his MySpace blog, Goldman confirmed his departure from WWE. He said that his plan is to move back to Chicago. "Goodbye Scotty Goldman. Hello (again) Colt Cabana! GOOD TIMES, GREAT MEMORIES," he added.
