- WWE has postponed the ticket sales for WrestleMania XXV until October 11th due to Hurricane Ike. The original on sale date was supposed to be on September 20th however out of concern for the residents of the Gulf Coast of Texas and the recent disaster area deceleration made by Texas Governor Rich Perry the company decided to hold them off for three more weeks. The 25th anniversary of WrestleMania will be held at the Reliant Stadium on April 5th 2009 while the April 3rd Smackdown! will be taped live at the Toyota Center. The Hall of Fame ceremony and Monday Night RAW will also be taped at the Toyota Center.
