- WWE has hired Jim Connelly as the new Senior Vice President of Consumer Products and will start working on July 13. He will oversee global licensing, home entertainment and publishing during this very difficult economic time.

Donna Goldsmith, WWE's Chief Operating Officer and the one who held the position before Connelly said that he's definitely the right person for the job.

"His international experience, his knowledge, and his connections across consumer products will be a great asset to us and help take our businesses to the next level," she said.

Prior to joining WWE, Connelly spent 25 years with the NFL where he served in the same position from 1993 to 1998 and most recently was the Managing Director of NFL Europe.
