- A special one hour show on WrestleMania XXIV will be the first WWE show on MyNetworkTV on Thursday October 2nd, just one day before the premiere of Smackdown! on the new network. WWE has released a list of songs that will be used during the recap show and they spared no expenses when it comes to rights for music this time around. Songs include U2’s 'Elevation'; 3 Doors Down’s 'It’s Not My Time'; Kid Rock’s 'American Bad Ass'; Fuel’s 'Leave The Memories Alone'; Stone Sour’s 'Through Glass'; Saliva’s 'Ladies and Gentlemen'; Three 6 Mafia’s 'Its a Fight'; Breaking Benjamin’s 'Until The End'; Metallica’s 'Sad But True'; The Crystal Method’s 'High Roller'; Rev Theory’s 'Light It Up'; DMX’s 'Intro' and Shop Boyz’s 'Rockstar Mentality'. Most of the artists have worked with WWE on previous occassions.
