Twitter announced today a partnership with a few companies - including WWE - that will enable them to embed content previews, view images, play videos and more straight from a tweet.
The new initiative will be rolling to everyone on Twitter.com starting today with a later release on Twitter for iPhone, iPad, and Android.
Over the past year, WWE has been pushing Twitter pretty hard on WWE.COM as well as on all their television properties, showing WWE-related trending topics on TV shows as well as promoting its Superstars' Twitter accounts. The TV broadcast team also make several references to Twitter during shows, sometimes a bit too much!
