- WWE has named Jared Bartie at the new Executive Vice President and General Counsel, replacing Edward Kaufman who has been with the company since 1997 and has occupied that spot since 2003. In his new role Bartie will be responsible for the Legal and Business Affairs for the company. Bartie just left the Charlotte Bobcats where he headed the community relations department. He previously worked for the NBA, United States Tennis Association and BET. This will be his second stint with WWE. "Jared already has a proven track record with WWE, and we are confident that with his leadership our organization will be able to meet the global challenges ahead," said WWE COO Michael Sileck.
