- WWE, Inc., announced the financial results for its first quarter ended March 31st 2008 this morning. Revenues totaled $162.6 million as compared to $107.4 million in the prior year quarter. Operating income was $27.1 million as compared to $20.6 million in the prior year quarter. Net income was $19.5 million, or $0.27 per share, as compared to $15.1 million, or $0.21 per share, in the prior year quarter. WrestleMania XXIV was factored in the quarter whereas last year it was not since WrestleMania 23 was held in April.
