- WWE has changed the name of one of their June pay-per-views, removing One Night Stand from the line up and replacing it with Extreme Rules. One Night Stand was created when WWE brought back ECW for one night only in 2005. The event was a major success which led the company to do it again the next year and eventually adding it to its PPV calendar. The name didn't make much sense anymore since it was anything but a one night stand. All matches on the pay-per-view are contested under extreme rules, hence the new name.
