- First it was Mr Kennedy and now another surprising release from WWE, Umaga. The Samoan Bulldozer was given his marching papers yesterday accompanied by the usual message of "wishing the best in all future endeavors" on the WWE.COM website.

Umaga - real name Eddie Fatu - originally signed with WWE in 2002 and was paired up with Matt Anoa'i to form the tag team 3 Minute Warning. The team only lasted till 2003 until they were released.

He then left for TNA Wrestling for six months in 2003 and in 2005 he was signed to a new WWE contract.

He made his debut as Umaga in April 2006 the day after WrestleMania on RAW. He had "one strike" on the Wellness Program policy after his name popped up on the Sports Illustrated list that rocked WWE in August of 2007. He is a former two time tag team title holder.

His last match was against CM Punk at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view last Sunday.
