- It was announced on Friday by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon that this year's WWE special Tribute To The Troops will not be airing on USA Network as it has been since it started but it will air on NBC, most probably in a prime time slot. WWE considers the tribute show as one of the most special shows for them during the year and it's a night where ratings doesn't really matter for the company when it airs because what they do is just for the troops. The trip to Afghanistan or Iraq is voluntary and those who are asked to participate have the option to refuse but rarely anyone says no.
