- Former World tag team title holder Trevor Murdoch was released yesterday according to a report on WWE.COM. Murdoch signed with WWE in 2005 and was teamed up with Lance Cade. The duo made their tag team debut in September on Monday Night RAW and won the World tag team titles later that month at the Unforgiven pay-per-view. Murdoch, along with Cade, went on to win the tag team titles for a total of three times. Last week Murdoch was drafted to Smackdown! during the supplemental draft however didn't appear on the new brand.
