- 'The Wrestler' opens tomorrow in 50 more cities around the country giving it the widest release to date. So far the movie grossed $5,638,945 in 144 theaters and that number is expected to shoot up after this weekend. The cities where the film will open tomorrow are Anchorage, Asheville, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, Champaign, Decatur, Springfield, Charlotte, Charlottesville, Cleveland, Colorado Springs, Corpus Christi, Des Moines, Ft. Myers, Gainesville, Grand Rapids, Harrisburg, Ithaca, Jacksonville, Knoxville, Lansing, Lexington, Lousiville, Memphis, Nashville, New Orleans, Norfolk, Newport News, Northampton, Springfield, Oklahoma City, Omaha, Pittsburgh, Portland, Providence, Raleigh, Durham, Reno, Richmond, San Antonio, Santa Fe, Sarasota, Spokane, Syracuse, Tallahassee, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Tucson and Tulsa.
