- The WWE tag team titles will be defended at WrestleMania 25 and the winners will walk out with the unified titles as World tag team champs The Miz and John Morrison will take on WWE tag team champs Carlito and Primo Colon.
The match was made during the ECW on Sci Fi show after Carlito and Primo interrupted Miz and Morrison during their live taping of the Dirt Sheet.
The WWE Tag Team title was created in 2002 with Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit as the first champions after the two brands split. Carlito and Primo have been champs since September 26, 2008 while Miz and Morrison won them on December 13, 2008.
Both sets of titles are rarely defended on television and unifying them seems to be the only logical solution.
