- At 49 years of age, Sensational Sherri still looked good and with a lot of energy so it was a big shock when the wrestling community heard the news that she passed away late last week at her mother's house. While speaking to the Tuscaloosa News, Captain Loyd Baker, commander of the Tuscaloosa County Metro Homicide Unit, said that Sherri did not die of natural causes although foul play is not suspected. "The cause of death is pending her autopsy and toxicology report," he said Monday. She was found dead by her husband at around 12:45PM after going to bed because she wasn’t feeling well.
