The renewal deal for RAW between WWE and USA Network received major press across several websites in the television industry with all speculating that the deal is just a part of what could be a bigger deal announced in a couple of years.

WWE is looking to start its own network and NBC Universal could be the potential partner at the moment. Earlier this year WWE announced that they want to kick off their network within the next 18 months.

The biggest problem WWE would face is distribution but according to the LA Times, NBC Universal has a channel that may fit the bill in its Universal HD network.

USA Network renewed RAW till Fall 2014.
