With the 1,000th episode of RAW fast approaching, WWE has released details on the new RAW Active concept that will involve fans in the show via phone, tablet, or computer, using several social media websites.
WWE will be using the services of Twitter, Tout, Shazam, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Google+, GetGlue, and Pinterest to allow fans to interact with the show during the three hours.
A cool new feature is using Tout, where fans will be able to record video of themselves of up to 15 seconds, send it to WWE, and a WWE Superstar or Diva might reply back and the video might even shown during the broadcast. Also new is Shazam, allowing fans to use the popular app to unlock bonus content on their phone including theme songs, photos, etc., when the "Shazam Now" button appears on screen.
WWE is really trying to takeover social media on Monday nights, adding exposure to their shows by reaching new audience who use services such as Twitter and Facebook.
