WWE issued a press release announcing the success of the historic 1,000th episode of Monday Night RAW, breaking records for television viewership and online engagement.
RAW 1000 was the most watched three-hour RAW ever with over six million viewers, with the regular two hour time slot between 9PM and 11PM being the most watched RAW since the show returned to USA Network in 2005 and the best in 10 years with over 6.3 million total viewers. The show was also the night's most watched program and cable and most watched on all television among male viewers and among adults 18-49 and 25-54.
When it comes to online trends, RAW was the number one show on cable and broadcast with social activity higher than the top 10 broadcast shows combined. Activity spiked to more than 11,000 comments-per-minute during the appearance of The Undertaker, the biggest social media moment of RAW 1000. The Twitter hashtag poll "Should AJ say I Do or I Don't" was the number one moment in RAW history with 9,000 tweets-per-minute.
