- Victoria police will not be pressing charges against WWE Superstar Chris Jericho for his altercation with fans at the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre which occurred in February.

Fans attacked and insulted Jericho, blocking his way while he was trying to get out of the parking in SUV. Jericho eventually got out and fought with the fans and punched a woman while several fans snapped video of the incident.

Sgt. Grant Hamilton said that after interviewing several witnesses and watched hours of video recordings, "the evidence presents conflicting stories and charges would not be approved by the Crown." Hamilton said that the former WWE champ co-operated with the police.

The Victoria Times Colonist newspaper also reveals that police have spoken to the security guards hired at the event, International Crowd Management, and advised them that police officers may attend future shows to prevent anything like that from ever happening again. Security guards were filmed doing absolutely nothing as fans harassed Jericho on his way out.
