Riding on the success of 'The Wrestler', WWE has invited Academy Award nominee Mickey Rourke to appear at the twenty fifth anniversary of WrestleMania in Houston, TX. Rourke confirmed this on the red carpet at yesterday's SAG Awards and said that he talked to WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and agreed to the deal. "The boys from the WWE called me and asked me to do it," Rourke told Extra. "I said, 'I want to.' I'm talking with Rowdy Roddy Piper about it." Rourke suggested he'll be in a match with Chris Jericho. "Chris Jericho, you better get in shape. Because I'm coming after your ass." As reported in yesterday's newsletter, McMahon - who hated the movie 'The Wrestler' - changed his mind completely once the Golden Globe awards wins and Academy Award nominations were announced.
