- Dave Meltzer of the Observer is reporting that the 'Alpha Male' Monty Brown has been released from World Wrestling Entertainment less than a year after signing with the company. In January of this year, two months after signing, he made his debut for ECW under the name Marquis Cor Von which was later changed to Marcus Cor Von. Cor He took an extended period of time off to take care of some family issues and hasn't been on WWE television for a couple of months. The 'Alpha Male' was part of TNA Wrestling prior to joining the WWE ranks.
