- MLB.COM has an article regarding Jerry "The King" Lawler delivering a replica WWE title to the Tribe clubhouse with "Indians" written on the gold name plate.
Lawler, an avid Indians baseball fan, said that after each win the Player of the Game will receive the belt and after the whole season whoever wins the belt the most will be able to keep it for good!
Designated hitter Travis Hafner - in charge of the Player of the Game - came up with the idea and contacted Lawler to see if he can make it happen.
"I figure he'll win the belt a lot," joked Lawler.
