- In a surprise cut, WWE has released former Tag Team title holder Lance Cade who was involved with Chris Jericho in the feud against Shawn Michaels. Cade was brought up to the main roster from Ohio Valley Wrestling in mid 2003 and spent a year there before being sent back to Ohio Valley where he spent an additional twelve months at the training facility before being brought back to the main roster, this time teaming up with Trevor Murdoch in 2005. During his run with Murdoch, Cade won the World Tag Team titles three times and in June of this year he formed some sort of an alliance with Y2J Chris Jericho. His last match was against his former teacher Shawn Michaels on RAW a couple of weeks ago and he was on the receiving end of multiple chair shots from HBK who left him laying in the middle of the ring.
