- Former Playboy cover girl, actress and activist Jenny McCarthy has teamed up with World Wrestling Entertainment to promote Generation Rescue which consists of a group of scientists, doctors and volunteers researching the cause and treatment of Autism. This is something that hits close to home for McCarthy as her son was diagnosed with Autism in 2005. McCarthy will be appearing on Saturday Night's Main Event - to be taped next Monday and airing on August 2nd - to continue promoting her cause. A fund raiser for Generation Rescue was held over the weekend which WWE Diva Maria attended. Other stars such as Britney Spears, Jim Carrey, Hugh Hefner and his girls, Howie Mandel and others attended.
