Jeff Hardy walked out of Night of Champions as the new World Heavyweight champ after defeating CM Punk in the main event of yesterday's pay-per-view show. The former champ was on the wrong end of the Twist of Fate and a Swanton Bomb as the crowd went bananas for Hardy.

This is Hardy's third world title reign - twice as World Heavyweight and once as WWE champion.

In other matches from the show, Chris Jericho and his new tag team partner the Big Show retained the unified tag team titles after they defeated Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase.

Christian won the ECW World title by defeating ECW original Tommy Dreamer.

Kofi Kingston retained the United States title in a match against MVP, Jack Swagger, Carlito, The Miz and Primo who replaced the Big Show.

Michelle McCool also retained her Women's title defeating Melina.

Randy Orton defeated Triple H and John Cena to retain the WWE title by pinning John Cena. At one point Orton tapped while being in the Sharpshooter and in the STFU at the same time but the referee didn't know who to award the win so it continued.

Mickie James became the new Divas champion after she delivered a DDT on Maryse.

And Rey Mysterio defeated Dolph Ziggler to retain the Intercontinental title.
