- Jeff Hardy vs Matt Hardy has been officially added to the WrestleMania 25 card.
This will be the second time that the brothers will fight one-on-one against each other with the first one being in December 2001 during the Vengeance pay-per-view. On that night, Jeff defeated his brother thanks to some leverage from placing his foot on the ropes. Lita served as the special guest referee. The next night on RAW, Matt got his revenge and defeated both Jeff and Lita in a handicap match.
Five other matches have been announced for WrestleMania so far with Triple H vs Randy Orton; Edge vs John Cena vs Big Show; Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker; Money in the Bank ladder match; and the 25 Diva battle royal.
