The whole stunt was pulled to continue, or rather, start the rather short Donald Trump era of Monday Night RAW. The announcement was made by Trump himself at the beginning of the show and was met by a huge ovation from the crowd.

Trump quoted the sum of $245,000 in refunds for the show.

The commercial free RAW was made possible by the product placements of Kentucky Grilled Chicken who paid a hefty price to be the sole sponsors of the show.
