- Shawn Daivari was also released from his WWE contract today. The Iranian-American made his WWE television debut in October of 2004 as the sidekick of the controversial gimmick Muhammad Hassan. After Hassan left WWE, Daivari went back to Ohio Valley Wrestling and was then brought back at the end of 2005 and managed Mark Henry and The Great Khali. Eventually he was drafted to ECW, then to Smackdown! and lately to RAW. His last appearance on television was in a flag match against Jim Duggan on RAW last month.
