- The cuts following the disappointing third quarter financial results started yesterday with WWE firing two Superstars. The first casualties are Paul London and Chuck Palumbo. London has been employed by the company since 2003 and spent till mid 2007 on the Smackdown! brand before moving to RAW in last year's draft. During his time in WWE, London won the Cruiserweight title, the WWE tag team title twice - once with Kidman and one with Kendrick - and the World tag team title once also with Brian Kendrick. Palumbo first moved to WWE when his contract was bought along with WCW in 2001 and stayed there till 2004 before he was released. In 2005 he was brought back to the Smackdown! brand and in this year's draft he moved to Monday Night RAW however he never appeared on the show.
