Chris Jericho was suspended for thirty days following his kick to the Brazilian flag on Thursday night in Sao Paolo. The match was stopped by local police and after Jericho apologized to the fans he was escorted out.
Speaking about the incident, Jericho admitted that he made a bad judgment call in the course of entertaining the fans in Brazil.
"I apologized to the people in the crowd for showing disrespect. It was a bad move. I did it with the fans' entertainment in mind and I'll accept the consequences for that."
The thirty day suspension means that Jericho will miss out on the upcoming WWE pay-per-view No Way Out which will take place on June 17.
