- Dave Meltzer of the Observer is reporting that the WWE Canadian office will be shutting down with the exception of sales. Situated in Toronto and headed by longtime WWE employee Carl DeMarco, the Canadian office is the longest one opened since the international expansion. DeMarco was later promoted to WWE President, Canada and Latin America when WWE opened five other overseas offices. Canadian affairs will be kept running from the WWE headquarters and Carl DeMarco is not expected to get cut from his position. A couple of weeks ago WWE also closed down the Australia office in Sydney.
