- The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has revealed information on the personal life of Chris and his wife Nancy, saying that Nancy - who was part of WCW playing the character Woman - filed for divorce and an order of protection four years ago, in May of 2003. According to the divorce papers, Chris has threatened to hit her multiple times and even caused damage to their home furniture and personal belongings. The judge presiding the case issued a restraining order against the former champ and prevented him from entering their house. His wife dropped the case later that year and the two resumed their relationship afterwards. TMZ.COM managed to get the papers in question, which you can read here. The two moved in together in 1997 after they followed their WCW on-screen relationship to real life and got married in 2000. Together they had one child, Daniel, who was also killed in the attack. Benoit has two other children from a previous relationship, David and Megan, who were not in the house and don't live with their dad.
