- The Associated Press is running an article revealing some stuff from the Chris Benoit diary which shows that the former World Champion was "wracked with grief and acutely aware of his own mortality," according to an attorney representing the Benoit estate. Carry Ichter, a long time friend of Benoit and now the attorney representing the Benoit family, said that the diary contained a series of open letters to his best friend, the late Eddie Guerrero. The diary was written over a period of six weeks. Ichter said that the entries showed that Benoit was very upset about the death of Guerrero and wrote how much he loved him, pointing out that he would be with him soon. "It showed that he was very depressed," Ichter said of the entries. The diary had also "warm words" when describing his wife Nancy and son Daniel. With no will left, the journal could be a very big piece of evidence in the war between the family of Chris and Nancy to see who will get the estate.
