- Former World champion Batista will be undergoing surgery to repair a torn hamstring and is expected to be out till mid 2009. According to WWE.COM he picked up the injury during his SummerSlam match against John Cena but it would be physically impossible to wrestle four months with that sort of injury. Dr Jeffrey Dugas will be performing the surgery at the Andrew Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Center in Birmingham, AL. Dr Dugas is a colleague of Dr James Andrews who in the past performed several surgeries on WWE Superstars.
