- The current WWE champion Batista is in Birmingham, AL., today for surgery under the capable hands of Dr. James Andrews.
The word going around is that Batista will be out of action from four to six months which means he will have to surrender the WWE title he won just last Sunday at Extreme Rules.
WWE knew Batista was injured and scheduled for surgery just a few weeks after making his return from a separate injury so it seems a bit odd that they actually gave him the WWE title in the first place.
The situation of the title will be decided on RAW next Monday as the championship will be on the line in some way, shape or form.
