- Batista was interviewed by UK tabloid newspaper The Mirror where he talked about his injuries, the evolution of Randy Orton, being pushed back to the main event this fast, the possibility of turning heel again and much more.
Perhaps the most interesting part of the interview was when Batista said that he has one year left on his WWE contract and he doesn't know what he plans to do yet.
"I really just have mixed feelings about it right now. I have just about another year left on my contract which I want to fulfil and when I start getting close to the end of that contract that's when I'll make a final decision," the number one contender for the World Heavyweight title said.
When asked if we'd be perhaps seeing him only for another year, Batista replied, "Yeah, that's a possibility. Absolutely. I turned 40 while I was out injured and I just don't want to overstay my welcome. I see a lot of young kids coming up and I'd like to make room for them, you know."
