According to a news story broke by Wrestling Observer, Shane McMahon has met UFC President Dana White and other UFC executives last week.

A big MMA fan, McMahon gave notice last month and will be resigning from his post as Executive Vice President of Global Media effective January 1, 2010.

McMahon did not say what he was going to do next except for exploring other ventures and it's believed that not even those very close to him know about his next move.

Shane has attended several UFC shows in the past and once even pressed the idea of creating an MMA brand within WWE but due to the obvious the project never took off.

Shane joining UFC would be a massive blow to WWE as UFC is considered their biggest rivals in terms of pay-per-view and other businesses.
