Number one contender for the UFC Heavyweight title Shane Carwin will have to wait some more for his title shot as the current champ Brock Lesnar has been taken out of the UFC 106 pay-per-view fight due to an illness.

UFC.COM reported that the fight will hopefully be re-scheduled for early 2010 and the main event will now be Tito Ortiz vs Forrest Griffin.

Lesnar has reportedly been sick for almost a month making him unable to train. "He said he’s never been this sick in his life," UFC President Dana White told Yahoo! Sports. "He said it’s been going on for a long time and he just hasn’t been able to shake it."

The PPV has now been renamed to UFC 106: Ortiz vs Griffin 2.
