There were rumors that Bobby Lashley will be fighting Fedor Emelianenko on the upcoming Affliction pay-per-view on August 1 after his original opponent Josh Barnett tested positive for a banned substance and the California State Athletic Commission decided not to issue him a license.

However Lashley has shot down the rumor mainly because he didn't do any MMA training since his last fight against Bob Sapp and the fight against Fedor is just days a week away.

Affliction are offering tons of money to find a replacement for Barnett and there are talks that if more money is offered TNA's new acquisition would seriously consider taking on the number one ranked MMA heavyweight.

An announcement on Fedor's opponent will be made tomorrow.
