Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix champion Daniel Cormier will be fighting one tough opponent for his last Strikeforce bout before moving to the UFC, and that man is none other than former UFC Heavyweight champion himself Frank Mir.
The undefeated Cormier - standing at 10-0 - won six of those fights during Strikeforce shows. His last fight was against another former UFC Heavyweight champion, Josh Barnett, in the finals of the Heavyweight Grand Prix tournament, a fight which Cormier won with a decision and a broken hand.
Frank Mir - with a record of 16-6 - will be fighting his first fight since his defeat at the hands of Junior Dos Santos at UFC 146.
No date has been announced yet for the Cormier vs Mir fight although it is rumored to be taking place sometime in October or November.
