ESPN in the United Kingdom has secured the rights for UFC coverage starting August 8 with the UFC 101.

ESPN, which will be launching on Sky and Virgin Media next Monday, won the rights after several other stations expressed interest in broadcasting UFC.

Earlier this month UFC 100 aired for one time only on Sky following the demise of Setanta Sports. For the month of August,

ESPN will be free for Sky subscribers so UFC 101 and 102 will be avialable to everyone. After that ESPN goes pay TV.
