UFC President Dana White revealed that the company will know in around a month to a month and a half if the current UFC Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar will need major surgery.

"If he needs that major surgery, there’ll be an interim title," White said at the UFC 107 post fight press conference.

Shane Carwin was supposed to fight Lesnar for the title but that obviously was pushed back to the Brock's illness and Frank Mir's impressive win yesterday against the French Cheick Kongo put him back in the title race.

"I want Brock to get healthy to be honest with you. Maybe if he watched tonight’s fight, he’d be more inclined not to get too healthy," Mir said.
