UFC President Dana White and some of the fighters from yesterday's UFC 149 attended the post-fight press conference following the show.
The attendance was 16,089 with $4.1 million in gate money. The gate money shattered the record set by the Rolling Stones. "We broke the gate record, and I'm embarrassed about it," said White.
Bonuses of $65,000 went to Matt Riddle for submission of the night, knockout of the night went to Ryan Jimmo for his seven second job, and Gagnon and Caraway got the fight of the night.
White felt like he was back at UFC 33 and so many things went wrong during the night, especially the refereeing. White went on a referee rampage, blasting the ref of the Jordan vs Kongo fight for letting them clinch for all three rounds without interfering.
"Look, we're at UFC 149, you can count on one hand how many shows have actually sucked, and tonight is one more finger on the hand."
Dana added that some of the undercard was awesome as the guys blew it out of the water but the main card disappointed and did not deliver at all.
