Two more fighters were announced for the EA Sports MMA game yesterday - Dan Henderson and Tyron Woodley.
Henderson is the only mixed martial artist to concurrently hold two titles in two different weight classes in a major MMA promotion. He was the last Welterweight and Middleweight champion of the Pride Fighting Championships. The 6'0", 183 pound MMA fighter out of Temecula, California has an extensive wrestling background as he was a member of the 1992 and 1996 Olympic teams. Henderson comes to Strikeforce with a career record of 25-7 and most recently won Knockout of the Night honors in his UFC 100 fight this past summer.
Tyron Woodley is the new rising MMA star is currently 6-0 and all his wins have come via submission. Woodley, a 5'9", 170 pound, wrestled for the University of Missouri where he was a two-time All-American. In his most recent fight at Strikeforce – Challengers 5 back in November, Woodley defeated Rudy Bears in the first round with an Arm-Triangle Choke.
