Former WWE Heavyweight champion Batista told TMZ.COM that his goal to be in an MMA cage to fight professionally is out of the window as negotiations fell through after UFC bought out its main competitor, Strikefroce.
Batista said that he was really disappointed as he had his heart set on the promotion but following the UFC buy-out they never said anything to him and the deal they had on the table never ended up being signed.
Batista left WWE in May of last year after he was unhappy in the company and attended the June Strikeforce event in Los Angeles.
