I hope you all had a wonderful holiday, and, a Happy New Year! I had an okay go at both. So, it was more than a couple days...sue me!

I’d like to give a huge thank you to the people that sent me so many encouraging words, in regards to my current personal issues. I would thank all of you individually here, but, simply put, that would take up too much space. You all know who you are, and, honestly, you are some of the best people on this planet. Period. I mean that, from the bottom of my heart.

So, about the wonderful world of wrestling……I haven’t had all that much time to watch much wrestling programming. Haven’t watched a complete SmackDown! for I don’t know how long. I’ve virtually given up on WWECW, although I do watch it occasionally, if I don’t delete it from the DVR out of...whatever it is.

Far as TNA goes, I actually tried to get into Total Non-stop Angle, but, you know, you can only have so much of that. Plus, I’m never home when it’s on, my wife won’t let me DVR it (it interferes with her shows, and, I let her win), and, for some strange reason, when I attempt to record the Saturday replay, my marvel of modern technology catches a recording error nearly every time.

So, that leaves WWE’s “flagship” show, as JR calls it, Raw. I’m bowling on a Monday night league until mid-spring, so, I also DVR Monday Night Raw every week, and, view it when it’s convenient. I absolutely love that machine, especially when it works. Anyway, like I said, not much wrestling these days, but, I still gots me Raw, and, I likes me some Raw. Chris Jericho’s return was still pretty cool to me, even though we all knew it was coming. I just don’t know if I like the direction he’s being taken. Don’t get me wrong, I like Bradshaw just fine, but, he’s an old, worn out hand that could, at any moment, end his career permanently. For the life of me, I can’t figure out why Jericho would come back to have an upper mid card feud, at best, to restart his career. Am I alone in thinking he should’ve had a little bit shorter stay at the top of the card than he’s had thus far?

Can any of you see Jeff Hardy as WWE Champion? Rey as WHC? Yeah, me neither. Could make for an awesome champion vs. champion match down the road, but, right now, I just don’t know. I’m still confused about the super overhype for Jericho’s return, then him seemingly fizzling out so quickly. I think Cody Runnels getting a title belt is cool, I just think it may be a little early in his career. Then again, I’m not the booker, so, I don’t get to decide, now do I? At least the kid should have a finisher before he gets pushed, right?

Does it make sense to any of you that Chavo couldn’t get a shot at the ECW title, but, he came THIS close to getting one for the World Title? Once again, me neither.

So, Coachman is the new color guy on SmackDown! ? I feel that is an odd choice. He had a comfortable place on Raw. Why mess with a good thing? I don’t really like Coach at all. I never have, but, he fit on Raw. They were better off leaving him where he was, and choosing someone like, oh, I don’t know, Michael Hayes, Mick Foley, or, anybody other than Jonathan Coachman? I just don’t like the idea of hearing him do color commentary. It may just cause me to stop watching SmackDown! If only Undertaker were drafted to Raw, then, I’d have no reason to watch anyway.

I guess that does it for me this time around. Hopefully, a fire can be lit under my unmotivated ass, and, I’ll write some more in the more near future. I don’t plan on taking as much time between rants as I have been. Then again, I never really planned on it to begin with.

I know I said I wasn’t going to give individual thanks here, but, a few people really touched my heart these last couple weeks. So, to Kelvin, our very own Jen, Veronica, and, everyone else who gave me such kind words during a time of need. Again, to everyone who sent me kind words through this, you all are truly wonderful people, and, deserve the absolute best life has to offer. I simply cannot express my gratitude to all of you.

Until next time...
