We start on our unforgiving journey towards death from birth. Every morning we wake up is yet another day closer to our final destination. What really happens when we die? Is this life all there is, or is there truly a Heaven waiting for those select few that deserve it? I believe in God, being raised in a somewhat money hungry Catholic church. I believe there are saints and angels, as well as a hell. For Andrew Martin, the answers are now known. Dying in your early thirties is rarely expected by anyone. Sure, there's a few of us that, when younger, always swore we'd be dead by thirty. Then, thirty comes and goes, and for most life goes on. Test wasn't a main event talent, not here in the states anyway. He had maybe two or three interesting story lines in his days in WWE, but nothing that will be celebrated like Eddie Guerrero or Andre the Giant. Still, in wrestling you're only as good as your opponent makes you. Test wasn't the greatest mat technician, or the strongest man in the business; but let's not forget that it's guys like Andrew Martin that help to create the illusion of greatness for superstars like Triple H. Everyone plays a part, in wrestling as in life. Now, Heaven has yet another young superstar. Rest in peace, Andrew "Test" Martin.
On a different note, the latest story lines in both WWE and TNA have been entertaining. I love the elevation in the triple H and Randy Orton saga. How far will they go? Will we see Orton kidnap Hunter's daughter? Or maybe throw Stephanie off a bridge? The only limits to this one are the ones WWE puts on it.
Also, the Edge and Big Show drama is classic. It's a shame that WWE is turning Vicky Guerrero into such a whore though.
Speaking of whore, can you believe that Maryse beat Melina, and cleanly? I was in shock. I loved the idea of having the divas surround the ring. I'm excited about the 25 diva battle royal coming up. Please get Trish and Lita in this one. My dark horse pick for this match..... MAE YOUNG!
What the hell is going on with Mike Tenay and Don West? I understand the whole "turning heel" thing. Then again, most of what West has been saying makes perfect sense. Tenay is kind of too straight for my taste. I just pray this doesn't lead into a match between the two, especially at Lockdown. Could you picture these two in the six sides of steel? Hey, you never know.
D-Von has really bulked up. I guess both of Team 3D has. I also dig Bubba's Mohawk. Maybe I'll sport one myself now. I'm sure the faculty at my son's Catholic school will love it.
Yes, I have noticed the influx of black superstars in the WWE. I think R Truth is being underutilized. I think Mark Henry is overrated. Also, as one of my favorite superstars, it's about time that Shelton Benjamin got a title run. Kudos. Let's see if WWE can maintain the push that these athletes deserve.
Is it just me, or can Booker T not decide on an accent? Being from Texas, shouldn't he be more Jimmy Yangish? Styles should kick the crap out of him until he figures out just where he's from. Oh yeah, congratulations to the newest Legends' Champ, A J. Styles.
I still say the Knockouts would kick the piss out of the Divas. I'm just saying... Awesome Kong, she's the man.
I'm impressed that Sting kept his title last night. Well, surprised may be better. If not Kurt Angle, who can take the title from him. I say give Jay Lethal a short run, and see what happens. Hey, he beat Angle cleanly before, so it ain't that big a stretch.
Happy Saint Patrick's Day everyone! Finley's day has arrived! Hey, even green beer is worth drinking.
