I'm baaack. Did you miss me? Sorry about the absence. Life is still pretty tough right now. Between 2 kids under that age of 4 and my wife due with another daughter in less then a month, it has been keeping me pretty busy. But I finally have time to sit down and watch wrestling, not to mention write about it. So let's get started.

Finally, our Messiah has arrived. He will bring change and it's only for the better. If you think I'm talking about Obama then you need to pull your head out and wake up to reality. I'm talking about Chris Jericho. He has returned to "Save Us" and is doing a great job. Not only has he won the World Heavyweight Championship by using his brain. But he has defended the belt numerous times against HBK (The Has Been Kid) and now he's moving on to Batista. At least now he will have a decent challenge. I can't see Jericho losing his belt, even is Stone Cold is the guest referee at Cyber Sunday. And besides his in ring work, Jericho is the best Mic guy in the business right now. His quick thinking and wit goes a long way. Plus he has the physical skills, talent, tenacity, and the toughness to be a long term title holder.

Speaking of mic work, isn't Santino Marella one of the best characters that the WWE has produced in a long time. I love watching him. He is hilarious. Plus I'll never complain about looking at Beth Phoenix. Santino will surely be facing the Honky Donkey Man at Cyber Sunday. I can't wait to see what Santino says to Honky's face. I'm sure Santino will find a way to squeeze out a win. I love the uni-brow, ridiculous accent, and from a distance his tattoo on his back just looks like a bunch of hair. He really knows how to push the fans buttons and it's great to watch. Every wrestling show should have at least some comedy aspect to it. And that seems to be Santino's major role right now.

What is up with the WWE's recent Gestapo actions with the fans and their signs? One fan even got kicked out of the No Mercy PPV. He held up signs when Batista and Beth Phoenix were wrestling that referred to them being not being able to pass a piss test. Then the last straw was when he held up a sign that said "Buttclown" during Chris Jericho's match. Which is ridiculous considering that Jericho used the term "Assclown" for years. And this is happening at every televised show. WWE security is confiscating signs that have anything to do with Ric Flair or any non-WWE talent. They won't even let in "WOOOOOO" signs. They also confiscate signs that they feel are inappropriate. Like "CM Punk is a drug dealer", "I miss Chris Benoit....RIP", and "4skin". These are just a few examples of signs that were taken by security at the last Raw taping. I understand not liking the signs, but you don't need to take them away. Just don't show them on TV. Fans sometimes spend a lot of time on these signs, not to mention they are paying good money to get into the show. The fans should be able to express themselves and say what they want on their signs. Hell, without the fans wrestling is nothing.

Now to get off the subject a little. Was is me or does anyone else think it was great to watch Kimbo Slice get his ass kicked. And it only took 14 seconds for Seth Petruzelli. Kimbo has been a joke since he first got into the MMA. Why do you think he was matched up against guys like washed up fighters in his first few fights. Even Ken Shamrock is just a shell of what he used to be. Kimbo needs to go back to backyards and YouTube. He is a joke in a cage. I've seen his YouTube fights and to me Kimbo is a dirty fighter and completely unskilled. Except for throwing punches. I've seen him give low blows, kick guys when they are down and knocked out, even cheap shot a guy in the back of the head after the fight is over. Kimbo is a street fighter and belongs on the streets. He is an embarrassment to MMA and an insult to every fighter that has ever stepped into a cage or ring. I know we haven't seen the last of Kimbo. But I hope he has nothing but getting his ass kicked again in the future.

Speaking of getting their ass kicked. Wasn't it great to see that little sawed of shit, Rey Mysterio, get hit with that huge chair shot by Kane at No Mercy. I wish he would have lost his mask. I would love to see Rey get busted open. But that's probably one of the reasons he hides behind the mask. And don't give me that whole "it's lucha libre tradition" excuse. Because I know plenty of Mexican wrestler that don't hide under a mask. I've seen Rey without his mask and he looks like he's 12 yrs old. I just hope that Mysterio has plenty of chair shots in his future. It's just so much fun to watch him get blasted.

I really like ECW's new talent idea. We are getting to see all kinds of new wrestlers. Some good, like Jack Swagger and Gavin Spears. Some great, like Evan Borne. And some very highly overrated, like Ricky Ortiz. Granted I miss the old ECW, but I do kind of like the way it has become a proving ground for wrestlers to make it in the WWE. It's great watching these young wrestlers that we wouldn't normally be able to see. Plus it finally gives these wrestlers a world wide audience instead of just local shows. There is such a huge difference between wrestling in front of 500-1000 people at a house show and wrestling in front of 15-20 thousand people at the arena and millions of viewers worldwide. Plus, believe it or not, wrestling is totally different when you are wrestling in front of cameras instead of just a live crowd. When your a wrestler you do things different in the ring when your in front of cameras, especially when it's a regular TV show. Everything from not swearing in the ring to adjusting your moves so you are facing the right direction. TV wrestling is a lot more technical and ring position really is everything. You always have to know where you are and where the cameras are. I'm glad these young guys are getting their shot. I'm sure we will see many more in the future.

Also speaking of young guys, I really like this new second generation faction. Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase Jr., Cody Rhodes, and Manu. I know Manu and Umaga are related, but can't they at least dress a little differently. I have always been big on Samoan wrestlers. Everyone from The Islanders, The Wild Samoans, Haku, and the list goes on and on. All 4 of these wrestlers are great athletes and wrestlers in their own right. But together they could be next 4 horsemen. I though Revolution would be the next big group, but like usual, Vince broke them up and cut them short. I hope to see these guys together for a long time. And even if they kick someone out there are other second generation wrestlers that are just waiting in the wings. Ricky Steamboat's son, Jimmy Snuka's adopted son (Domino on Raw), and hopefully in a year or so Ric Flair's son will be ready. My only complaint about them is letting Cody Rhodes do most of the talking. Give the microphone to DiBiase. He is so much more polished and smooth when he his talking. Cody just sounds like a little spoiled punk teenager. Of course, maybe that's the whole reason they let Cody talk.

And lastly, I want to share a little story with you that was quite a learning experience for me. My son is 3 yrs old and we decided that he was old enough to stay up with dad to watch wrestling. It was a TNA impact show. Well the first match was a women's match. My son made it about 30 seconds into the match when he turned to me and asked why the 2 women were fighting. That's when it dawned on me that he was to young to watch wrestling. The only reason I bring this up is every once in awhile I see a story on the news about some kid that hurts another kid while trying to perform a wrestling move. As much as I feel sorry for the kids involved, I put a lot of the blame the parents. I don't care if WWE and TNA makes dolls and action figures. Wrestling is not for any person that can't understand the difference between fighting and entertainment. Especially young kids. Plus the men and women you see on TV are highly trained athletes. They are not dumb kids in a backyard or a parent that thinks it's cool to show your kids wrestling moves. Kids should ALWAYS be told not to not to wrestle or try any moves that they see on TV. If they are that interested in wrestling then look for a wrestling school in your local area. When I was in wrestling schools we had students as young as 13 yrs old. Wrestling schools are in every big town all around the world. You just need to find them. Playing with wrestling is like playing with fire. If you aren't properly trained then you will most likely get burned. Plus I tell kids that are interested in wrestling to work on a character and a personality while they are young. Then when they are older they can attend a proper school and learn the physical aspect of the art of wrestling.

I'm off for now, another diaper to change. Feel free to drop me a line with any comments, questions, or bitches. Until next time Stay Cool.
